This month we exhibited at Specialty Coffee Expo in Boston, Massachusetts USA for the first time in 3 years.

Attendees saw new equipment and were inspired by new projects, Jimmy Butler stopped by our stand, and we offered up espresso that was roasted at the Accademia del Caffè Espresso.

We showcased Wally Milk, the new connected machine and Pro App, the GB S, KB90, Strada AV, and Officine Fratelli Bambi’s PB Comet.

The Pro App was also displayed during the debut of Cropster’s new Cropster Café integration.

After the SCA Expo in 2019, the La Marzocco USA team started working on a booth design inspired by sustainability, care for the earth, and our solar-powered factory in Florence, Italy. The booth incorporated elements of Scandinavian minimalism and mid-century modular design, to re-use components at future shows. The bio-degradable and recyclable booth was made almost entirely of wood and cotton.

Throughout the weekend we hosted 24 roasters in our True Artisan Cafe. The Modbar showcased coffee roasted at the Accademia del Caffè Espresso.

The “favorite moment” was our special guest, Jimmy Butler. First signing copies of Barista Magazine as a cover feature, feature then heading to our booth and pulling some shots.
