The stage was set at World of Coffee Busan last week, where the best of the best came together to showcase their craft, dedication, and creativity. Today, we celebrate the remarkable talents who have graced this year’s competition.
We congratulate Mikael Jasin of So So Good Coffee Company, Indonesia, for emerging as the World Barista Competition 2024 crowned champion.
The runner-up is Jack Simpson from Axil Coffee Roasters, Australia. Takayuki Ishitani of Japan secured the third position.
Honoka Kawashima of Frank’s Coffee, New Zealand; Junghwan Lim of Aerycoffee, South Korea; Ian Kissick of Formative Coffee, Ireland, and Zjevaun Lemar Janga of Ripsnorter Coffee, The Netherlands, had remarkable performances this year.
