After 18 months off, South Africa is slowly starting to see a return to festivals and events, and La Marzocco South Africa is proud to announce partnership with The Coffee Magazine for the 3rd annual Creative Coffee Week.

Hosted at The Bond Shed Venue and Cafe in the beautiful east-coast city of Durban, Creative Coffee Week (CCW) is a gathering of South African coffee professionals with workshops hosted by international speakers, workshops, A Shot in The Dark roasting competitions and much more.

On the program this year: the new GB5, coffee tastings, sustainability programs, True Artisan Café on the GS3 and Linea Mini from La Marzocco Home, a single-group smack-down and much more.

To kick off this year’s event, La Marzocco will be equipping the Bond shed with the industry work-horse Linea PB for attendees to interact with, as well as sling shots for the annual Shot in The Dark roasting competition hosted by Genio Intelligent Roasters. We’ll also be pouring coffee from some of Durban’s top roasters every morning from 8:30 AM.

True Artisan Café Program:

Wednesday 15 September: Lineage Coffee (Morning) and Humble Coffee (Afternoon)

Thursday 16 September: Beaver Creek Coffee (Morning) and Skyline Coffee (Afternoon)

Friday 17 September: Terbodore Coffee (Morning) and Colombo Coffee (Afternoon)

Attendees will also be able to use the GS3 and Linea Mini from the La Marzocco Home Range, and use the machines for the Beat The Heat single-group smackdown.

Other activities include demonstrations, tastings and workshops curated by the team at The Coffee Magazine, see the program below for more info.
