The La Marzocco Sessions present Live Chats
Live Chats on Instagram Live will began with a discussion on La Marzocco Machine Technology and Maintenance, Wednesday, April 29th at 5 p.m. GMT +1. We heard from La Marzocco UK’s Estelle Bright, After Sales Manager, and La Marzocco Global’s Scott Guglielmino, Product Manager.

The a second Live Chat on the theme of the Local Coffee Climate at the time of Covid-19, Wednesday, was on May 13th at 2 pm GMT +1/3 pm CEST. We heard from La Marzocco UK & Ireland General Manager Paul Kelly, and La Marzocco China Marketing Manager, Alice Chen.
The third installment of Live Chats is happening on May 27th, 5 pm CEST/ 11 am EDT and features La Marzocco’s Head Designer Stefano Della Pietra and Modbar‘s Founder and Product Designer Aric Forbing speaking about Espresso Machine Design. This is an exciting occasion to understand what goes into designing and realizing our favorite espresso machines.
The La Marzocco Sessions present Latte Art Lockdown
Are you ready for some fun with a virtual latte art throwdown? Well, participate or be the judge of Latte Art Lockdown. 16 participants will have their latte art creations judged by our Instagram followers every Thursday and Wednesday on Instagram Stories. Each paired randomly, they go head to head. The one with the most votes goes on to the next round.
Want to participate?
16 participants will be chosen through a subscription and selection process. First come first serve! On April 27th at 3 pm GMT +1, be the first to Direct Message us “I want to play”: the first 16 people who do so are entered to play!
Remember, minimal skill is required but creativity and fun matter most!

How do you vote? You decide, but remember originality and creativity trumps all!
The Rules
Each competitor must send a video of their latte art before Wednesday 10 am GMT +1 during competition rounds.
Must be no more than 1 minute long and have a clear image, no audio.
Any type of milk or vessel can be used and no espresso machine is required!
The Rounds
Round 1: 16 competitors, each paired with another randomly, the public then votes which of the two paired participants have the better Heart.
Round 2: 8 competitors, each paired with another randomly, the public then votes which of the two paired participants have the better Tulip.
Round 3: 4 competitors, each paired with another randomly, the public then votes which of the two paired participants have the better Rosetta.
Round 4/Final: Competitor choice, create a free pour design, winner voted by the public.
The Prize? An awesome Goodie Bag which includes: An Apron, Latte Art Dice, Push tamper, and 12 & 20 oz Pitchers!
