Songwa, a plantation situated in the Great Rift Valley, Tanzania, is the non-profit endeavour, for which La Marzocco, Mahlkönig and Probat (players in the specialty coffee market), have united forces and partnered to cultivate green coffee, provide educational experiences at origin and, most importantly, support the impoverished local community through employment opportunities on the farm and specific projects aimed at improving lifestyle, including, for example, building classrooms.
