La Marzocco received the prestigious award “in onore dell’italia che ci onora” in the Accademia dei Georgofili historic Florentine venue from the Comitato Dei Cento; an institutional board promoting initiatives and events aimed at recognizing and honoring admirable and efficient sectors and firms of Italian life and society.
Guido Bernardinelli, CEO of La Marzocco, was invited to the awarding ceremony to present a talk on the company – where culture, history, tradition, craft meet innovation and R&D in the high-end coffee machine industry – alongside Franco Locatelli (Director of the Department of Oncology-Haematology at Bambino Jesù in Rome and President of the Superior Council of Health), Brunello Cucinelli (founder of Solomeo and the School of Arts and Crafts) and Valentino Mercati (President of Aboca).
La Marzocco is thankful to have earned the acknowledgment from the Comitato dei Cento, an institutional Italian assembly that annually identifies, votes and celebrates significant national realities and organizations.
Nominees come from different areas, united by the “precious quality of making one’s work a true and profound passion with results that concern not only one’s own specific professional field but the entire community, becoming examples to follow, and geared towards valuing the health and well-being of the person”.
