From September 22nd-25th, La Marzocco, as one of the official partners, brought specialty coffee and world class espresso machines to designjunction 2016 in London’s iconic Granary Square.
In the West Canopy, the @Home platform was showcased to a design-centric crowd by setting up a kitchen space whereby visitors could step into and get hands on with the Linea Mini’s and Lux D’s and have a mini espresso and milk technique class with one of the team. We were also on hand to answer all questions about the Linea Mini and who La Marzocco are, for example: why we do what we do and how we will be celebrating our 90th birthday next year. The crowds were getting excited to register for this year’s Out of The Box at Hackney House and for next year’s London Coffee Festival.
On the other side of Granary Square, you could find some of our network serving great coffee and food in Cubbit House; an area specifically focused on furniture and lighting design. We were honoured to have Ozone Coffee Roasters, Notes, Grind & Co. and Origin Coffee take turns to run the three cafe areas including The Secret Garden where you could find the Strada AV (fresh from its win at The Cafe Life Awards) as well as the VIP and Isokon cafe where the teams worked from Linea PB’s and Linea Mini’s. You could also find Allpress on Granary Square in their retro caravan.
We would like to thank all the roasters for being a part of this event and working so well with us as well as everyone who stopped by our stand to engage with us. Here’s to next year….
