Throwback to the Polish Brewers Cup 2017, which took place on 6th-7th of May in Kolobrzeg, thanks to the organization of Coffee Desk.
La Marzocco was represented by its local partner Koree, one of the sponsors, who set up a community-involving booth, serving specialty drinks and running the Latte Art workshops on a Linea Mini. Alongside the Brewers Cup, visitors had the opportunity to taste coffees provided by roasters Kofi Brand, Audun Coffee, Coffeelab, ETNO CAFÉ, Mount Caramel, JAVA Coffee Company, Comandante, Green Plantation káva, Coffee Desk.
About the Brewers Cup: competitors were asked to prepare and serve three individual beverages for a panel of judges. During the first round competitors completed two coffee services – a compulsory service and an open service. For the compulsory service, competitors prepared three beverages utilizing whole-bean coffees provided to them by the competition. For the open service, competitors used their coffee of choice and accompanied the preparation of the cup with a presentation. The six competitors with the highest scores from the first round made their way to compete in the finals.
And the winner of the 2017 edition turned out to be Maciej Duszak from Coffee Desk – whom we send our warmest congratulations!
