La Marzocco, in collaboration with its local distributor, Kialoa, is taking part this year with its personalized Swiss Chalet at IGEHO in Basel Switzerland (through Wednesday).
In addition to a variety of espresso blends, baristas will be serving a new coffee beverage from the Caffè Firenze machine at both the La Marzocco and Amici booths. The technology was introduced at Out of the Box in Milan and boasts new, innovative extraction technology which aims to create a sweeter, lower viscosity coffee beverage that highlights delicate flavors. The technology is the result of the on-going combined efforts by Francesco Illy, La Marzocco and the University of Florence.
