19th Century Public Toilet Turned “Attendant” London Café

You learn something new everyday, and if you haven’t heard it all yet– perhaps you will now. 19th century washrooms in London have since been shut down, restored, or utilized for other means– and one of the old men’s rooms has now been converted into a trendy café aptly titled, “Attendant.

”The original Victorian details of the space still remain on Foley Street, and the sweet little London spot has kept its original tiles, and the seated eating counter is built around the old porcelain Victorian urinals. For the most part, materials are a neutral white with a kelly green pop on the bar stools and red tiling around the bar area. The kitchen is in the old attendant’s office– hence the creative eatery’s name. Go the article HERE.
