Grind-by-Weight

Grind-by-weight measures coffee as it’s ground, using the La Marzocco Connected Scale to deliver a precise dose every time. Grind-by-Weight minimizes inconsistencies caused by factors like bean density and grind size, removing the need for manual weighing, streamlining the workflow for both home baristas and professionals while ensuring shot-to-shot consistency. Up to two doses can be set.

  1. Ensure your Pico Grinder is connected in the La Marzocco App.
  2. Open the La Marzocco App and navigate to the connected Pico
  3. Navigate to “Grind-by-Weight.”
  4. Set your target dose.
  5. Program up to two doses under Mass Mode
  6. Dose 1 & 2 correspond with the buttons 1& 2 on the Pico.
  7. Press the grind button—Pico will dispense and stop exactly at the target weight.
  8. The system may perform a micro-adjustment grind at the end to ensure accuracy.
