Brew-by-Weight is a feature on the Linea Mini that automates espresso extraction by stopping the shot at a precise weight. Working with the La Marzocco Connected Scale, it measures espresso in real time and adjusts for residual drips, ensuring accuracy without the need for manual timing. How to use brew-by-weight on the Linea Mini

  1. Ensure your Linea Mini & Connected Scale are connected in the La Marzocco App.
  2. Open the La Marzocco App and navigate to Linea Mini > Brew-by-Weight.
  3. Set your desired doses (e.g., 36g of espresso).
  4. Select with dose you would like your scale to be set to. Once selected, the scale will stop at this dose until changed again in the App.
  5. Start extraction—the machine will automatically stop at the programmed weight.
  6. For continuous flow, toggle Continuous Mode ON in the app.
