La Marzocco, the leading manufacturer of handmade espresso machines and equipment participated last week in Coffee Week Berlin 2024, a vibrant format celebrating the rich coffee culture in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities.

Held from September 27th to October 5th, the event brought together coffee enthusiasts and industry professionals for an exciting week filled with workshops and multisensorial experiences.

La Marzocco showcased its latest innovations and co-hosted workshops, multidisciplinary barista competitions (with Minor Figures), Latte Art Throwdowns (with Oatly) and cuppings (with Ally Coffee & Café Imports) around town, as well as pop-up cafè takeovers at its showroom & office in Reuterstrasse 50 (with Populus Coffee and Schvarz Kaffee). Visitors had the chance to learn about the Florentine brand’s commitment to coffee sustainability, origin and history, thanks to Accademia del Caffè Espresso’s Coffee Migrant Migrant Coffee exposé inside Germany’s headquarters.

At the additional newly inaugurated La Marzocco Deutschland Service Center in Lahnstrasse 33, German Latte Art Champion Daniel Gerlach conducted advanced Latte Art sessions and tech talks and Algrano Coffee delivered insights on empowering roasters to source coffee directly from producers.

Other dynamic community-building moments included a 70km road bike tour with the German team and Coffee Circle, fueled by espresso shots, and the official La Marzocco Day Party at Refuge Worldwide Radio Station on Niemetzstraße, a platform highlighting a new special edition machine and uniting over 300 coffee and music aficionados from Berlin and beyond, for a fun festive afternoon: a unique blend of community, coffee, and great tunes.
