new KDrama series “Would You Like a Cup of Coffee” features La Marzocco

“Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?” is a Korean drama series, based on a hit web-based cartoon series of the same name, authored by Heo Young Man. The series was produced and adapted for the screen by Roh Jung Wook in 2021.

The protagonist Kang Gobi (played by Ong Seongwu) is a new barista who enters the world of coffee by chance. He becomes a student of the coffee master Park Seok (played by Park Hosan) at the long-established cafe and gradually learns about the coffee community, barista skills, coffee basics, and many more life lessons.

The first episode aired on October 24^th and brought in a little under half a million viewers. We are excited to see machines like the Linea PB and KB90 at the center of Kang’s learning journey. The first season will run 12 episodes, catch our sponsorship credit at the end of each. Also, La Marzocco Korea‘s Director Matt Lee will make a few guest spots in the season too.
