La Marzocco S.r.l. had its origins in Florence,
the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and the home of Leonardo
Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi and many other great artists
who created some of the most famous works of art in the world.
Originating in this city it was only natural that La Marzocco
would instinctively assimilate and reflect a passion for beauty,
creativity and, why not, genius. |
|
| |
Founded in 1927 by Giuseppe Bambi and his
brother Bruno, La Marzocco became well known throughout Tuscany
right from the start thanks to its attractive, high quality coffee
machines, cleverly devised and designed, and manufactured with
care and a special attention to detail.
It was La Marzocco that
in 1939 developed and patented the first coffee machine with
a horizontal boiler, now an industry standard. This was the
first of a series of important innovations later to include the
dual-boiler system with saturated brewing groups. |
